  48.  Hello,
  49.
  50.  I'm trying to do some simple programming on the GUS-MAX.
  51. Does anyone have sample code they would share for this
  52. functionality.  I've played around now for two days and
  53. am having very little luck.  The SDK is a bit vague and
  54. for some reason I have been unable to find any play/rec
  55. routines for the CODEC.
  56.
  57.  Thanks for any help,

  70. Yes, it is possible...but how??
  71. In theory we should be able to record/play on 14 different channels

  263.
  264. I really doesn't know much about the MAX but on the regular GUS there is
  265. a Hardware problem with simultaneous play/rec. If you want to sample you
  266. must open the line input, but that automaticly puts it on the ouput :(
  267. And the output you do goes right into the sample input :<
  268. It's great if you want to sample what you play without haveing it leaving the
  269. card. But if you want to pass it through something out side or use it
  270. as a digital filter or something it's hard (impossible) to do.
  271. But if you "rebuild" you GUS you can pass this missfeature.
  272. I hade a file about it once. I got it from some of the GUS ftp archies.
  273.
  274. Well i'll maybe have a look at it myself in a week or two when I got my
  275. Equlizer program working. (At the moment i use my old SBpro as sample card
  276. and the GUS as play card).
