  51.  I'm trying to do some simple programming on the GUS-MAX.  
  52. Does anyone have sample code they would share for this
  53. functionality.  I've played around now for two days and 
  54. am having very little luck.  The SDK is a bit vague and
  55. for some reason I have been unable to find any play/rec
  56. routines for the CODEC.

  72. In theory we should be able to record/play on 14 different channels
  73.  at 44.1 khz, but the gus hasn't got enough inputs (not mine..)

  79.  use more than two channels (none of them worked, but it was my

  82.  but maybe we should ask Gravis directly...

  265. I really doesn't know much about the MAX but on the regular GUS there is
  266. a Hardware problem with simultaneous play/rec. If you want to sample you 
  267. must open the line input, but that automaticly puts it on the ouput :(
  268. And the output you do goes right into the sample input :<
  269. It's great if you want to sample what you play without haveing it leaving the
  270. card. But if you want to pass it through something out side or use it
  271. as a digital filter or something it's hard (impossible) to do.
  272. But if you "rebuild" you GUS you can pass this missfeature.
  273. I hade a file about it once. I got it from some of the GUS ftp archies.

  275. Well i'll maybe have a look at it myself in a week or two when I got my
  276. Equlizer program working. (At the moment i use my old SBpro as sample card 
  277. and the GUS as play card).
